MSG ION Messages in Millions Quantity represents the aggregate volume of Messages, expressed in millions, exchanged between Infor software applications and third-party applications, application programming interfaces (APIs), message queues, shared directories, databases or network components for a 12-month period. A Message is a discrete inbound or outbound exchange of data (e.g. a report, order, requisition or inquiry) processed by Infor ION and routed to/from an application, APIs, message queues, shared directories, databases or other network component.
MSU Managed Services Units Quantity represents the maximum number of units as more fully described at https://support.infor.com/esknowbase/root/DLPublic/67167/Managed%20Service%20Units.docx utilized by Infor resources in any year during the Subscription Term. The Managed Services Unit quantity limitation shall apply separately to each year during the Subscription Term. In the event that the maximum Managed Services Unit quantity is not fully utilized in any year, it shall not accumulate or roll forward to any subsequent year. Any Managed Services Unit in excess of the stated quantity limitation shall be billable at Infor’s then current rates.
MSV Monitored Servers Means the total number of servers on the systems being monitored or integrated. Where Server represents a specific named server.

ND Named Devices Quantity represents the maximum number of devices, including but not limited to, printers, hand-held scanners, computer terminals, mobile phones, etc.; that are connected to the server operating the Software and which may operate with the Software to produce the inputs or outputs as intended by the Software, regardless of how many devices are active at any single instant in time. For example, if the Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses for 5 printers have been defined within the Software as valid printers, then each of these 5 devices shall be counted against the maximum quantity regardless of whether such printers are printing output, connected to the network, connected to the server directly, or turned on.

NLU Named Lite Users Means an individual user of the Software, which the Customer has specifically named or unambiguously identified, limited to defined callback functions – strictly no dialog functions such as or order entry. The storing or manipulation of any data (except in the system automatically extrapolated credentials) is not permitted. In the event that such a "Named User" either (i) leaves the business of the Customer or (ii) shall not be available to the company for a certain time or (iii) accepts a position within the company which no longer requires the continued use of the software, Customer may designate another employee to replace the original named users. Notification of the substitute is to be submitted in writing prior to the change with the name of the substitute user.
NMCH Named Machines The Machine quantity which represents the maximum number of unique serialized machines at the required Named Site including but not limited to an asset operating on the shop floor that will connect and/or access the software for the purpose of passing data from the PLC, device, or edge device to the server database to feed information to the IoT application, regardless of whether the device is connected to the server at any instant in time.
